Meet the Team

Career Waves is a collaborative initiative purposed by the Strengthening Career and Technical Education (CTE)  for the 21^st Century Act (Perkins V  federal grant program).  The overarching goal is to expand opportunities for every student to explore, choose and follow CTE programs of study and career pathways to earn credentials of value including postsecondary degrees and industry-based certificates. This platform will provide valuable career and educational resources for communicating with and connecting high school and college students, parents and employers to  Louisiana Department of Labor Region 1’s academic and training opportunities.
